• I'm Steph Parrott, a product designer with 6+ years of experience designing across a wide variety of screens - from product design for the web and mobile to motion design for game consoles and television.

My interests lie at the intersection of design, technology and storytelling - stemming from the moment I discovered digital photography with my dad's Apple Quicktake.

  • I am currently a Product Designer at Box, where I work on the Content and Developer Experience teams. I joined Box when Verold, the start-up I worked for in Toronto, was acquired in 2015 to bring 3D file viewing into Box.

Prior to Verold, I worked for a first-party Microsoft studio in London, Soho Productions, on really cool interactive TV projects for the Xbox, like Kinect Sesame Street TV.

I am a graduate of Ryerson University in Toronto, where I studied the mysterious arts of Radio & Television, with a specialization in (equally mysterious) 'Digital Media'.

In my spare time, I enjoy cross-stitching (current obsession: emojis, of course), cooking and discovering tasty vegan food, petting dogs and slowly but surely working on Introverts at Work.
